Troy Albany Ice Cats

The Troy Albany Ice Cats female hockey teams marked their 30th season in 2023. Much has changed since the 1993-94 season but the goal of developing players and providing a positive environment for our players and families has not. Our Ice Cats become better players, form lasting friendships, graduate from high school and make their way to college. To date, more than 85 Ice Cats have gone on to play college hockey at Division I, Division II, and Club levels.

Our coaching staff is experienced (and includes 3 former Ice Cats) and they work very hard to develop all of our players.

For the 25/26 Season, the Ice Cats plan on offering the following Teams:

8U

·      Supplemental to co-ed mite team

·      1 Practice

·      3 – 5  Games

·      1 Tournament

10U

·      Supplemental to co-ed squirt team

·      2 Practices per month

·      10 - 12 Games

·      2 - 3 Tournaments

·      Girls from other organizations outside of TAHA permitted to participate

12U

·      State Tournament bound

·      Supplemental to co-ed pee-wee team

·      1 Practice per week

·      15 Games

·      2 Tournaments including the Empire State Games

·      Girls from other organizations outside of TAHA permitted to participate

16/19U

·      Full time tournament bound

·      2 Practices and 1 skills session per week

·      30-40 Games

·      2-4 Tournaments
