Volunteer Requirements

In accordance with USA Hockey policies, all off-ice hockey volunteers—including team managers, schedulers, and other team volunteers—must complete the following requirements:


  1. Register with USA Hockey
  2. Volunteer registration is free.
  3. Registration must be renewed annually.
  4. Register with USA Hockey
  5. Complete the required SafeSport training (Note: this is required yearly for all volunteers)
  6. Complete the required USA Hockey Background Screening (Note: The background screen is conducted through a national vendor, NCSI, and is valid for two seasons. The screening cost is $30).
  7. Complete TAHA Volunteer Registration
